Summer Ideas For Fundraising Lots Of Planning Or Up & Running In Minutes? You Choose...

Over the past few months we have been dealing with lots of sports people and people in kids clubs showing the easy 1- 2- 3 process for our Give To Get Fundraising Campaign.  What we have found is a few of the Orgs that we spoke to did not think about what we had to offer at all until they started looking at outlay for some of the following event types - But eventually realized that Digital Fundraising Is Disrupting The Game!

Host A Swim-A-Thon
Talk with the pool management about hosting the event. Then, find swimmers such as the local swim team and other interested parties willing to secure pledges per lap they swim. - done a thousand times and time consuming!

Partner With Music Festivals
There are many ways that you can fund-raise at a music festival, such as having volunteers canvas the crowds, or talk with organizers about having a percentage of each ticket sale go to your cause. Both of these options are great summer fundraising ideas! - If volunteers are no motivated usually a fun thing the first hour then they become tired or you have to offer some type of incentive to keep them going and usually unsupervised!

Throw Your Own Concert
Everything from the rental space to the food and beverage permits will need to be worked out beforehand, but if you play your cards right, you’ll raise money through multiple outlets including ticket and beverage sales. Again lots of time - council permits - long term planning .....

Plan an Outdoor Movie Night
For a relaxing summer fundraising idea, try hosting an outdoor movie night at a local park. You’ll need a permit, projector, large white sheet/projector screen, sound system, food, and beverages. If you don’t have access to this equipment, there are companies out there that specialize in outdoor movie equipment rentals. - Permits - sound people - screen - food & beverages and a good movie LOL lots of time planning and let's hope the weather holds up!

Cook Up A Barbecue
Talk with a local barbecue or other casual food operation about sponsoring an event where all proceeds from food sales go to your cause. Better yet, plan your own barbecue event, and make it competitive. Have people sign up to bring in their best smoked meats, recruit a local celebrity or two to judge, and crown a winner. Some of the best summer fundraising ideas involve food! Great but weather plays a large roll and buying or getting people to bring food and raise money in some cities you still need to get permits for selling or handling food it's always a process...
